〜宮本武蔵の文武両道を現代に〜
宮本武蔵は単なる剣豪ではなかった。
兵法を極め、禅を学び、書を残し、画を描き、
生涯を通して自らを磨き続けた。
その姿は、まさに文武両道の実践者であった。
現代の武道界には優れた武道家が数多く存在する。
しかし武藝士とは、武だけを磨く者ではない。
文を修め、武を磨き、人格を高め、
社会に貢献しながら生きる者である。
武藝士は流派を超える。
武藝士は国境を超える。
武藝士は競技を超える。
武藝士とは、宮本武蔵が示した文武両道の道を、
現代に実践する人の称号である。
世界武道の聖地・霊巌洞より、
新たなる文武両道の時代を世界へ発信する。
私たちは武藝士として、武を超え、
人間完成への道を歩み続けることをここに宣言する。
